Chukka for rainy days

Here's another Chukka boot from Carmina. They really make a lot of nice boots in Mallorca, maybe they have more rain than we are led to believe? We had this made on a Dainite sole. Mr. Albaladejo, the patriarch of the family, did however point out to us “not really Dainite, this better than Dainite”. I hope he don’t mind us calling it a Dainite though. Model 905. Rain last.

Lovely shoe. Actually cheaper (at todays exchange rate) than at Carmina's own web store, where they charge €425. Plus freight costs. Looking forward to you opening!

It's tanned calf skin.

Is it as ligth in color as the tanned dub monk? It does look darker, more like a light chestnut or perhaps cognac.

Yeah its the same as the double monk. This model does seem to come from a slightly darker batch of material though.

Den här modellen tillverkas väl i cordovan också? Är det något ni kommer ta in? Det ser jag isåfall som min nästa sko. Mvh.

Hej John, Om du vill tillverka en så kallad "made to order" så kan du i princip göra ett par skor i vilket material som helst. Denna sko i Cordovan skulle kosta 6800 kr i "MTO"-utförande. Tack Roland! Jag hade för mig detta. Då jag dessutom läst att simpson-lästen passar oss med lite smalare fötter skall jag kolla upp detta noggrannt innan nästa stockholmstripp. Mvh, john
