The Albaladejo family has been making shoes on the island of Majorca for almost 150 years. In 1997 José Albaladejo founded Carmina Shoemaker, thus continuing a long family tradition. It is an operation that also involves several other family members. Carmina Shoemaker shoes are Goodyear welted, using traditional methods. The company is renowned for treating Horween Shell Cordovan leather, and their vast range of models provides many made-to-order possibilities.
This spring we will add Enzo Bonafé to our lineup of premium shoemakers. Bonafé is one of Italy's most skilled and acclaimed shoemakers. As with many of the brands we carry Bonafé is a family business where the whole famiglia is involved in the making of the shoes. One thing that sets Enzo Bonafé apart is that they are completely hand welted, a form of artisanship long lost or considered too time consuming for most other makers, even for premium brands like Edward Green and Gaziano & Girling (although all bespoke Gaziano & Girling shoes are hand welted). Enzo Bonafé also does a special kind of welt called “Norvegese”, a specialty in Italy and considered to be a mark of workmanship’s brilliance. All Bonafé shoes are made in Bologna, Italy and production is very small scale. Both ready-to-wear and made-to-order shoes from Bonafé will be available from April 25.

The Gaziano & Girling motto is “Understated elegance”.
In the year of 1890, Mr. Edward Green boldly proclaimed that he would "make the finest shoes, without compromise”. A promise that stands even to this day. Edward Green is legendary in the world of shoemaking. For decade after decade, Edward Green has provided men like Ernst Hemingway and the Duke of Windsor with high quality footwear. The company has provided iconic models like Westminster and Dover to mention a few. Abbeyhorn makes use of a variety of natural materials to bring you their extensive collection of items. Their raw supplies are sourced ethically from renewable resources, often recycling a waste product from the meat industry and as a result preventing it from ending up in landfill. Sozzi Calze socks
The Sozzi brothers started to produce socks for men and women in Milan in 1912. In those days the production was fully handmade. In just a few years the brand became a reference for elegance. Production increased and new technological advancements ensured a larger clientele. At the end of the 2nd world war the brothers decided to switch production to men's socks only. Today the factory is managed by Franco Sozzi, the founder's son, who continues his father’s and uncle’s tradition of excellence.
We have created our very own shoe trees. These are made for us in Northampton, England. We just love these vintage styled trees and we hope you enjoy them too. The Skoaktiebolaget Shoe Trees are available in four colours: Acorn, Cloud, Forest Green and Cherry.
